Learn the Ropes Registration

Please read this entire page before registering below.

How it works:

1. Click the course you wish to sign up for and register using the form (links below)
2. You will receive a copy of your submitted form to your email
3. You will receive an email one week before your course starts with location details
4. If you have registered for a course and realise that you need to drop out before you attend please let us know ASAP so we can offer your space to someone else.
5. If you have opted to make a contribution to the running costs in your registration form we will be in touch with further details (further info below)
6. If you encounter a drop out list instead of registration it means the course is at capacity. The drop out list is only for this current session in case someone drops out. It is not a waiting list for courses that start in 2024.

Payments/Optional Contributions:

These courses were launched to support the wellbeing of our community. Since their launch in 2022 they have helped more that 200 people learn a new skill and make new friends. Most people who sign up for a LTR course end up taking 2 or more.

To help us to continue to provide these courses for our community we are introducing a fee or suggested donation for new/returning students. This is to help cover the associated cost of materials, heating, refreshments etc for each course.

If this is your first time taking a Learn the Ropes course you can take it for free. You are also welcome to make a contribution if you wish. For 2024, returning students who have already benefited from one of our courses will need to pay for their course. Space is still allocated on a first come first served basis.
